Glass Cleaner
How To: Heavy Duty Glass Cleaning
When standard cleaners won't cut it, reach for the "Heavy Duty." Formulated with our famous Bar’s Bugs cutting power, this cleaner is designed to strip away stubborn road film, greasy fingerprints, and salt spray, leaving nothing behind but a crystal-clear shine.
Where to use it:
- Automotive: Exterior and interior windows, chrome trim, and side mirrors.
- At Home: Glass table tops, mirrors, and large windows.
-
Marine: Ideal for removing salt crust and spray from boat windscreens and stainless steel.
THE 2-CLOTH METHOD
For the best, streak-free results, we recommend using two cloths: one for the "heavy lifting" and one for the final polish.
1. Spray Directly
Spray Bar’s Bugs Heavy Duty Glass Cleaner directly onto the glass or mirror surface. The powerful formula will immediately begin breaking down contaminants.
2. The First Pass (The White Cloth)
Use your White Bar’s Bugs Waffle Weave Cloth to wipe the surface. The unique waffle texture is designed to trap and lift dirt, debris, and road film away from the glass.
3. The Final Buff (The Green Cloth)
Using your Green Bar’s Bugs Microfibre Cloth, buff the glass in a circular or side-to-side motion. This removes any remaining residue and ensures a perfect, streak-free finish.
Pro Tips for a Better Clean
-
Stay Cool: For a perfect finish, avoid cleaning glass that is hot to the touch or in direct sunlight, as the cleaner may dry too quickly and cause spotting.
-
Chrome & Stainless: Don't stop at the glass! Use this on your chrome bumpers or stainless steel appliances at home for a mirror-like shine.
-
Wash Your Cloths: To keep getting that "pro" result, ensure your waffle weave and microfibre cloths are washed regularly and kept free of grit.
