Wheel Cleaner and Iron Remover Bar's Bugs

Step 1: Wheels

Frequency: Once a week

Start by cleaning your wheels, as they accumulate brake dust deposits that can etch the wheel surface permanently if left unattended.
Use Bar's Bugs Wheel Cleaner & Iron Remover to effectively remove brake dust and other contaminants.

How to: Spray the cleaner onto the wheels, ensuring complete coverage, and let it dwell for a few minutes. As it captures the iron particles, the applied product will turn purple. Agitate product if required, and then rinse thoroughly with water!  Remove any residue and dry with a clean cloth.

Car Wash and Protectant Bar's Bugs

Step 2: Wash

Frequency: Once a week

Next, it's time to give your car a thorough wash. Regular washing prevents contaminants like dust, dirt, pollen, tree sap, bug guts, salt, and air-borne pollutants from adhering to your vehicle, ultimately protecting the paint and finish.

How to: Use Bar's Bugs Car Wash & Protectant, a wax-free formula that keeps your glass clear.
Dilute the product as per the instructions (approximately a cap per 20L wash bucket) and apply it to the entire surface of your car using a sponge or Microfibre Wash mitt. Rinse off the soap thoroughly and dry with a microfiber towel. For a more detailed guide on how to achieve ultimate results, read our blog on the 2 bucket wash method

Bug and Tar Remover - Bar's Bugs

Step 3: Spot Clean

Frequency: As Needed

For stubborn spots on your paintwork, such as bugs and tar, use Bar's Bugs Bug and Tar Remover. This powerful aerosol formula instantly loosens difficult patches, allowing for easy removal.

How to: Shake the can well and spray the product directly onto the affected area. Let it react for a moment, then gently wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth. For stubborn stains, you may need to use a damp cloth. Finally, wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Fast Wax and Ceramic Spray Coating Bar's Bugs

Step 4: Wax/Coating

Frequency: Every 1-2 months (Fast Wax)
or Every 2-3 months (Ceramic Spray Coating)

To achieve a brilliant, high gloss shine and provide added protection, consider waxing or applying a coating to your car's exterior. Bar's Bugs offers two options: Fast Wax and Ceramic Spray Coating.

Fast Wax: Apply Fast Wax every 1-2 months. This product removes imperfections and forms a protective shield on your car's exterior. Its hydrophobic properties make it harder for bugs and dirt to stick to your paint, reducing the frequency of cleaning.

How to: Simply spray fast wax onto paintwork and buff with a microfibre cloth for instant shine.

Ceramic Spray Coating: Apply Ceramic Spray Coating every 2-3 months. This true ceramic coating provides extreme gloss, shine, and depth. It features Si02 & Ti02 nano-quartz technology and can be used as a stand-alone product or as a topper for your current Ceramic Coating.

How to: Spray directly onto your paintwork, and disperse product using a cloth. Leave to cure, and buff away.

Tyre Shine Aerosol - For a deep-black look Bar's Bugs

Step 5: Plastic/Rubber

Frequency: As Needed

To restore the look of exterior plastic car parts and rubber pieces, use Bar's Bugs Tyre Shine. This product delivers a long-lasting wet shine and protection without leaving a greasy mess.

How to: Shake the can, and spray the Tyre Shine to the desired surfaces, ensuring even coverage. Allow it to dry for a few minutes, and your plastics and rubber will have a fresh new look. Make sure to wipe away any overspray.

Bar's Bugs Glass Cleaner and Glass Cleaner with Rain Repellent Spray -

Step 6: Glass

Frequency: As Needed

For streak-free glass cleaning, Bar's Bugs offers two options: Glass Cleaner Spray and Glass Cleaner Spray with Rain Repellent.

Glass Cleaner Spray: Use this cleaner for regular glass cleaning. It effectively removes grease, dirt, dust, and handprints from all glass surfaces, including windows, mirrors, and windscreens.

How to: Simply spray it on and wipe it off using a clean cloth or paper towel. For best results, read our blog on the 2 cloth method.

Glass Cleaner Spray with Rain Repellent: This cleaner not only cleans the glass but also applies a rain repellent agent. Its hydrophobic formula creates an invisible barrier between the glass surfaces and the elements, improving visibility during rainy conditions. Use this product weekly to maintain its hydrophobic properties.

How to: Just like our original glass cleaner, simply spray it on and wipe it off using a clean cloth or paper towel. For best results, read our blog on the 2 cloth method.
